A detailed breakdown of all the pertinent information thats relevant for our business friendship to thrive.

1) Free consultation

If you’re wowed by what we have to offer and are interested in getting started, you’ll probably get in touch about your free minute consultation by providing your name, email address, phone number and the best time to call (don’t worry, your information is secure). Click here to contact us. During this call, you’ll have a complimentary 30 minutes with either of us so that we can get to know each other and talk about your project. If you would like further time to discuss we reserve the right to bill hourly for our time.

2) Receiving a quote

After our call, we’ll go over everything and put together a quote for all the services we recommend for your particular goals. The price of the quote will be valid for 14 business days, at which point a new quote will need to be issued as all prices are subject to change at any time. All prices listed on this page are provided for your benefit. This website is updated periodically, the prices may become outdated. For accurate pricing please get in touch with us for a individual quote that is reflective of your project and its goals. The quote may be revised if you want to add or remove or rushed services.

3) Your contract

Once you’ve decided we are the best fit we’ll draft up a contract of service. This will cover both of our responsibilities and hold us accountable to each other. The contract may be signed electronically or printed out, signed and scanned. Both will be considered to have equal legal weight. The contract is a serious commitment and will be enforced if necessary, so please do not take it lightly. We will both be making a commitment to each other in this partnership and expect both sides to uphold the terms to the best of their ability. This includes meeting all deadlines outlined in project calendar that will be created on unique per-project basis.

4) Deposits and payments

With the signed contract in hand, we’ll send you an invoice for the initial deposit payment. This deposit of 33% is required for all projects and is non-refundable. This is because we have limited availability and sometimes have to turn other clients away when the schedule gets booked. Larger or more complex projects may be split into 4 or more payments at our discretion. Individualized payment plans are available if needed. Payment can be made with any major credit card via Paypal. Our payment policy: Interest accrued if payment is more than 14 days late of our final invoice being sent electronically. Our late fee is 5% of the outstanding balance of your account. After a total of 28 days of payment truancy an additional 15% late feel will be added to your total balance and your account and it will be turned over to our legal and collections department.

5) Project calendar

After we receive your initial deposit, we’ll send over a calendar with the deadlines for the project. Please look them over carefully and let us know ahead of time if you will have any conflicts. Deadlines work two ways, and in order to deliver the finished products in time we count on your timely feedback and provision of the correct files. We won’t responsible for delivering the project by the original deadline if you are delayed in meeting your feedback deadlines, so please keep this in mind. Also, if we don’t hear from you for more than 14 days without any contact, the project will be cancelled and you’ll be billed for all work that was done. A $750 rebooking fee will be charged to re-start the project after this point. So in short, let’s all be punctual and keep the contact flowing and everything will run smooth as glass.

6) Revision process

We don’t want to limit either your options or your opportunities to change your mind, so most of our packages allow for up to two rounds of revisions on each design item listed in the deliverables, except for the logo design process which includes three rounds on your two concepts (6 concepts / revisions total). The estimate/quotation we provide to you is based on the number of hours that we estimate we’ll need to accomplish everything that you tell us you want to achieve. If you do want to change your mind, add extra designs or variations or even add new items, that won’t be a problem. You’ll be charged either a fixed item price as outlined on our website or our hourly rate ($75) for additional revisions or items not included in the original project scope. Along the way we might ask you to put requests in writing so we can keep track of changes.

7) Adding content

We’re not responsible for creating or inputting any content (text, images, etc) unless specifically stated in the project quote and contract. We do offer copywriting and content creation, so just ask so we can incorporate it into the project quote. The deadline for your PRINT READY content will be specified in your project calendar. If no or only some of the content is provided by the deadline, we’ll use demo content such as placeholder text, and demo images. You’ll be responsible for replacing the demo text later on or we can do it for you at our hourly rate ($75).

8) Your project files

After your final payment payment you’ll receive the final design files for all the artwork created on your behalf. Requests for design process files are an additional fee (i.e. other logo variations from the logo process beyond the final designs). Tech stuff: Brand files will be provided in transparent .png format, in addition to one brand board file that includes all elements in .ai format. Print files will be provided in vector-based, print-ready .pdf format (or the format specified by your printer) at 300dpi. Patterns and textures will be provided in .jpg format at 300dpi. Colors will be provided in CMYK, RGB and hex format. Font files are not included and you will be responsible for purchasing the licenses for yourself. Additional file formats and types may incur additional fees. Please consult with us beforehand.

9) Websites and hosting

We’ll create static designs for the look-and-feel, layout and functionality of your web site. Most packages includes one main design plus the opportunity for you to make up to two rounds of revisions. Additional revisions will be billed hourly. All websites are developed using the WordPress platform and X's Cornerstone page builder. We are not responsible for errors caused by the WordPress or Theme.co's X platforms and/or any additional plugins used on the website due to updates or lack thereof, compatibility issues or any other reasons. Any costs incurred due to additional paid WordPress plugins will be added to the project cost. The website will be developed on our own hosting account, and you’ll be provided with the link so that you can accompany the process. The website will be transferred to the final domain upon payment of the final portion of the project cost. We offer VERY reasonable hosting rates to our customers. We excursively recommend Dreamhost as hosting platform. For E-commerce terms will be negotiated at the inception of all new projects if nessary.

10) Portfolio and accreditation

We love to show off our work and share what we’ve learned with other people, so we also reserve the right to display and link to your completed project as part of our portfolio and to write about the project on websites, in magazine articles, on social media and in books about design. If you have an objection to this please let us know ahead of time. All our websites we place a small line in the footer of with a link to our website (i.e. Website design by: Purposeful Marketing Group) unless other wise stipulated and the inception of a new project.

11) Project cancellations

We invest a lot of hard work, time and resources into each project, and take this into consideration when pricing our packages and giving custom quotes. The estimate/quote we provide to you is based on the number of hours that we estimate we’ll need to accomplish everything that you tell us you want to achieve. For that reason, we want to make it clear that you are paying for a service and the payment rules are structured accordingly. If, at any stage, you’re not happy with the direction the work is taking, you’ll pay us in full for everything we’ve produced until that point and cancel our contract. This is regardless of whether you want the final files or not, but they will be provided anyways upon final payment. However, we hope to find a better solution before letting it come to this!
