Historical Society

The Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society collects, preserves, and displays documents, records, and memorabilia relating to the Michigan Supreme Court and the other Courts of Michigan promotes the study of the history of Michigan’s courts and seeks to increase public awareness of Michigan’s legal heritage. The Society sponsors and conducts historical research, provides educational materials for students, and sponsors and provides publications, portraits and memorials, special events, and projects consistent with its mission.

When we started working with Michigan Supreme Court Historical Society our first priority was to learn every nuance about their mission of education, and preservation of the historical integrity of Michigan’s Supreme Court. After we had a comprehensive understanding of the inner-workings of their organization we started categorizing and optimizing their information flow. We were able to update and condense their previous site of 500 plus pages down to 350 streamlined, easily accessible, and understandable pages. We then followed up with comprehensive video and hands-on training to provide the society with the tools and know-how to keep the Courts records safe, and up to date for years to come.
